a note on ending the year
Its okay if this year looks a lot like last year
In the same house, in the same job, in the same clothes
It’s okay if this year looks different than last year
A different house, a different job, different clothes
Its okay if this year you didn’t reach a business goal
Its okay if you didn’t travel the world
Its okay if you held on for dear life and only have your survival to show for this year
It’s okay if you’re still single and it’s okay if you are single again
Its okay if the only change from last year, is change within, growth in your soul, becoming closer to God, and less of what the world says you should be
It’s okay to not explain yourself to the world
To go about your life, living quietly and remaining steadfast in truth
